Our historical low energy costs have resulted in many systems that are designed to the lowest first cost with no energy recovery capabilities and result in massive amounts of wasted energy. New technologies and utility programs have shown that much of the energy we waste can be captured and reused within the building. We can add both renewable energy systems and energy recovery systems to move to the Net Zero energy Building goal.
