SRM principals include:

• David Katz, BA, MBA established Sustainable Resources Management and the controls subsidiary Sustainable Environmental Solutions, in 1993 after 27 years of corporate procurement and planning responsibilities with Canadian Bechtel Engineering, Johnson & Johnson and Ontario Hydro. At Ontario Hydro he was Purchasing Supervisor, Purchasing Agent, Financial Studies Section Head and Financial Evaluations Officer. He later became a System Planner where he was responsible for developing the multi-attribute scoring system used to evaluate 15 Demand/Supply Strategies. His current consulting activities include sales, marketing, educating and training in energy management, building automation, technology product assessments, sustainable “GREEN” buildings, renewable energy systems, distributed generation and the competitive opportunities arising from the worldwide deregulation of utilities.

• Robert E. (Bob) Young, P.Eng, MBA who has over 45 years experience in energy and industrial engineering, plant operations management, energy and conservation program planning and administration, and retro-commissioning. Previous experience with the Ontario Ministry of Energy and SNC-Lavilan Profac and Dominion Stores Limited. Bob was a CSA Standards Committee member involved with the writing of CAN/CSA 317.0 Energy Management in Health Care Facilities and CAN/CSA 318.0 Commissioning of Health Care Facilities.

• Andrew Gledhill, B.Sc., P.Eng, CEM, LEED AP®, Photovoltaic Technician. Andrew has 30 years of experience in Data Centre/Facility Management, TCP/IP networking and communication design and installation; computer design, development and manufacturing and geophysical equipment development and manufacturing. During the past 10 years Andrew has been Data Centre/Facilities Manager for Primus Telecommunications/Onramp Network Services dealing with HVAC, UPS, electrical, diesel generator and TCP/IP networking infrastructure for several Toronto locations and one in London, Ontario. Prior to that he worked for Geac Computers as System Hardware Development Manager in the development and production of a mainframe, multi-processor transaction processing system. Further work involved networking and communications design and system integration and installation. Some of his current activities include commissioning, LEED EB: O&M, Data Centre review, energy audits and modeling. Memberships: OSPE, IEEE, AEE, ASHRAE Associate, CanSIA, CanWEA.
